Conclusion launches Conclusion Strategies: partner for strategy and execution

Business transformation and IT services provider Conclusion introduces Conclusion Strategies, a new company that helps boardrooms sharpen and realise their vision for the future. Unlike traditional strategy consultancies that often stop at analysis and planning, Conclusion Strategies also guides the execution of strategy. The company draws on the expertise of more than thirty specialised companies within the Conclusion ecosystem. Thijs Otto van Es (49) has been appointed managing director.

Strategic needs

Boards face increasingly complex transformation challenges. Organisations must strike a balance between growth, cost control, social responsibility and digital innovation: from customer experience, data & AI to cloud choices and cybersecurity. Conclusion Strategies helps executives shape a clear vision, make decisive strategic choices and turn those choices into reality.

Thijs Otto van Es was appointed managing director of Conclusion Strategies on 1 January. He brings over 25 years of experience in strategy development and implementation at board level. Van Es: “Many executives have a sense of where they want to go, but struggle with how to get there. At the same time, this requires leadership and securing organisational buy-in. That is precisely where our role lies: providing direction, making choices tangible and ensuring strategy becomes embedded in the organisation.”

Distinctive through strategy and execution

While many consultancies limit themselves to strategy development and forecasts, Conclusion Strategies also supports the translation into execution. Acting as a strategic connector between clients and more than thirty expert companies in business transformation and IT services within the Conclusion ecosystem, Conclusion Strategies links strategy directly to concrete change and digitalisation initiatives, accelerating decision-making and delivery.

European focus and international scale

Conclusion Strategies operates at a European level, supporting organisations in the Benelux, DACH and Iberia regions. Where it adds value, the company leverages nearshore and offshore capabilities from Portugal, Spain and South Africa, enabling speed, scale and consistency.

Thijs Otto van Es (49) has been appointed managing director of Conclusion Lifecycle.

Experienced leader in charge

Van Es spent seven years as managing director of football organisation FC Utrecht, where he worked with the board and supervisory directors to set a sustainable course for the club. During this period, significant progress was made on the sporting, commercial and organisational fronts. With milestones including the acquisition of Stadion Galgenwaard and European football. Prior to that, he co-owned consultancy House of Performance (now Highberg), specialising in strategic change and performance challenges.

Van Es: “Strategy without execution remains an intention. Executives want to know not only where they are heading, but above all how to get there. Conclusion Strategies bridges those worlds. We stand alongside leaders in making choices and help turn those choices into reality, powered by the unique combined strength of the Conclusion ecosystem.”

A logical next step for Conclusion

According to Engbert Verkoren, CEO of Conclusion, Conclusion Strategies gives concrete shape to the proposition that Conclusion stands for.

Engbert Verkoren: “Conclusion is the partner in business transformation and IT services. That calls for involvement at the front end of the strategic process. With Conclusion Strategies, we stand alongside executives in setting direction and delivering on it. It’s ‘practice what we preach’: we apply this approach in executing our own strategy towards 2030.”

Active immediately

Conclusion Strategies is operational as of today and starts with a core team. The company focuses on existing and new clients seeking strategic guidance at board level and acceleration in executing complex transformations.
